Jennifer Marshall Patterson is a Lecturer in Public Theology and Director of the Institute for Theology and Public Life at Reformed Theological Seminary, Washington.

Jennifer has worked in public policy in Washington, D.C., for more than 25 years. She holds a Master of Arts (Religion) from Reformed Theological Seminary, a master’s degree in statecraft and world politics from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C., and a bachelor’s degree in French from Wheaton College, where she also earned her teacher certification. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in moral theology and ethics at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

She has spoken at national and international forums, testified before Congress and appeared on numerous radio and television shows, including C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” and PBS’ “To the Contrary.”
