Senate staffers, please join us for the next Senate Reading Group as we continue our abridged readthrough of Alexis de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America. For this session, we’ll tackle the introduction and chapters 4-5, 10 of volume two, part one (on American practicality as opposed to French preference for theory). No need to have read previous chapters to participate.
