Senate staffers, please join us for the next Senate Reading Group as we continue our abridged readthrough of Alexis de Tocqueville’sDemocracy in America. For this session, we’ll tackle Volume I, Part 2, Chapters 6 and 7 (on the advantages of American democracy and the consequences of majoritarian power). No need to have read previous chapters to participate.
