Mentorship and Scholars Programs

2026 Mentoring Program

Faith and Law’s Vision for the Mentoring Program (launched in Spring 2020): To connect current and former senior Hill staff to junior Hill staff in order to invest in the next generation and equip them to integrate their Christian faith with their vocation on Capitol Hill.

Why Mentorship? Through this mentorship experience, we hope that the mentees are able to wrestle with complex questions about politics, policy, and faith. Further, it is our desire for mentees to have someone with more experience and wisdom to call upon as complex career-related situations and opportunities arise.

Expectations: Mentors are expected to meet with their mentee at least six times over the course of the 12 week program.

  • Location: Meetings should take place at a mutually convenient location in person.
  • Timing: Mentees and mentors should work together to arrange meetings during the work week depending on each individual’s availability. Ideally you should arrange 30 to 60 minute meetings.

Requirements: Mentees need to be Full-Time Hill Staffers. Interns do not qualify.
